Believe it or not you are participating in marketing every single day as a viewer.
When you want adapt to the new trend which is going viral you are participating in marketing.
The next time you participate in awareness or getting an idea across a group of people. Remember that you are participating in a form of marketing unknowingly.

Points that should be considered for a successful social awareness campaign -

~Easy to Understand Language

Local language should be used so that more amount of people can understand the message or the points which is being presented.

~ Reputation Building

Your easy to understand language helps people to determine how to be involved with your campaign, but a good reputation determines whether people engage with it in the first place. If you have a bad reputation—even if that bad reputation is skewed or misconstrued—you are at an automatic disadvantage with all of your social campaigns. It is going to take more effort to get people to trust you.
For example - If your campaign is about harmful effects of plastic and you yourself throw wrappers on the road.

~Good listening Skills

Your Content Will Be Adapted to the Target Audience.
Social workers who listen, stay engaged and can recall information are able to establish trust with clients and to build a therapeutic relationship with them. Active listening helps clients feel understood, and active listening helps social workers gain insight into the client’s situation and perspective.

~ Helping Aids such as Posters,   Leaflets should be (ABC)
A- Attractive
B- Bold
C- Clear
*Digram or pictures should be present in you helping aid so that all sorts of people can understand the message you are presenting.
